the red in the sky is actually caused by pollution so I am not too sure whether the beautiful sunset is created by God. :P
More man-made pollution, more red skies.
Hmmm.. actually, the red in the sky is caused by simple theory of refraction. Just like how a white light passing through a prism iss seperated into it's components. The atmoshere works in a similar manner which is why at dusk and dawn, within a span of less then 1 hour, the sky changes colour so many times that it is sometimes known as the "magic hour"to cinematographers and photographers. At sunrise or sunset, sunlight takes a much longer path through the atmosphere than during the middle part of the day. Because an increased amount of violet and blue light is scattered out of the beam along the way, the light which reaches an observer early or late in the day is reddened.
Actually it's a common fallacy that pollution makes the skies redder. It doesn't, in fact it only dulls God's wonderful creation, that was He has meant for man to enjoy!
